Embracing Father's Love

One of the greatest truths that one can grasp is the love that Father has toward us. He demonstrated His love toward us by sending His son, and Jesus demonstrated it by laying His life down for us, and yet we still doubt His love. We doubt His love for us, and we doubt the sufficiency of His sacrifice by continually thinking we must do something to appease His judgment. Many who live in fear have what I call the Maude syndrome [God will get you for that].

Friend, He loves you with an everlasting love. His sacrifice was complete and sufficient. Learn to rest in His love. Stay in relationship with Him. Spend time in His presence and fear will begin to be dispelled. Decide today to embrace the love that Father has demonstrated toward you.
